Draft under review: The statements below are not yet fully verified against the released Android build and live website. In particular, calculator data flows and sharing, analytics and advertising, hosting and log retention, permissions, accounts, and deletion practices require confirmation. 1. Who we are
8thPayHub is an independently developed information and calculation service published by ZMOHI Studio. It provides tools and educational resources concerning Indian government employees' salary structures, pay commissions, allowances, retirement benefits, pensions, and related rules. References to government rules are informational; the app is not operated by a government authority.
This Privacy Policy explains the processing associated with the 8thPayHub Android app and the related 8thPayHub website. The Android version uses a Capacitor-based experience, so it can display web content and use device capabilities made available by the app.
2. Information you enter into calculators
You may enter values such as basic pay, pay level, allowances, deductions, service length, pension assumptions, tax inputs, and other financial or employment-related figures.
8thPayHub's calculator functions are designed to perform these calculations locally in the app or browser. In their ordinary calculation flow, these entered figures are not intentionally submitted to ZMOHI Studio's servers for calculation or used by us to build an individual financial profile.
Do not enter passwords, bank account credentials, Aadhaar numbers, or other unnecessary identifying information into calculator fields. The app is intended to estimate results, not to accept identity or payment credentials.
The inspected product source stores profile information locally in browser storage and Cache Storage. The profile can include a name, basic pay, department, date of birth and date of joining. Preferences and other saved data may also be stored locally. The exact storage and deletion behavior of the released build still requires verification.
3. Technical information associated with online access
Even when calculations happen locally, opening the app and requesting web content involves network communication. Our website-hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may process technical information necessary to deliver the service, including:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate network location derived from it;
- request date and time, requested pages/resources, and connection status;
- browser, WebView, operating-system, device, and app compatibility information transmitted with requests;
- security-related request metadata needed to address abuse, errors, or service outages.
This information is distinct from values typed into salary and pension calculators. We use online delivery services to make app content available, maintain reliability, troubleshoot technical problems, and protect the service. Service providers may retain operational logs under their own applicable policies and contractual settings.
Needs verification: The production host, CDN, log retention, server-side endpoints, and remote services have not been confirmed.
4. Android permissions and device features
The app requires network connectivity to load online information. Any other Android permissions or device capabilities must be limited to features that actually need them and requested only as appropriate.
If you choose to open an external government circular, share information, or download/export a result where supported, your device or a third-party app may handle that action. We do not obtain broad access to your device merely because you use a calculator.
Needs verification: The source Android manifest requests internet access, and the checked Capacitor plugin list is empty. The final merged manifest and released build have not been verified.
5. Third-party services and links
The app may refer you to official government sources and independent third-party websites, for example to verify a rule, office memorandum, or circular. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and we do not control their data handling.
The Android application may be distributed through Google Play. Google may independently process information about installation, downloads, updates, and use of its services according to Google's own policies.
The online experience also depends on hosting/network providers that process connection information to deliver content. The inspected product source loads Google Fonts and includes sharing through WhatsApp. Analytics, advertising, crash reporting, authentication and other services used by the released app and live website remain unverified and require a production audit.
6. How we use information
To the extent we receive or process information as described above, our purposes are to:
- deliver the pages, calculators, and information you request;
- maintain availability, stability, performance, and security;
- investigate technical errors, abuse, or legitimate support requests;
- respond to a message if you choose to contact us;
- meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not use the salary or pension figures typed into the ordinary calculator flow to provide individualized advertising or to sell a financial profile.
7. When information may be disclosed
Technical information can be processed by service providers involved in website hosting, network delivery, security, and operations. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or to protect the service and its users, subject to legal requirements. We do not sell user-entered calculator figures to data brokers.
If a feature sends data to another provider at your explicit request (for example, opening a third-party link or sharing a file), that provider's practices apply to information it receives. Please review the destination before sending personal information.
8. Retention and deletion
Calculator values used only in a calculation are ordinarily handled in the local app/browser session rather than stored in a ZMOHI Studio calculator database. Device-side browser data, preferences, cache, and downloaded files—where applicable—can usually be removed through the relevant in-app controls, Android app storage settings, or by deleting the downloaded file.
Technical connection and security logs, if held by hosting/network providers, may be retained for operational, security, or legal purposes according to the provider's configuration and applicable requirements. We do not promise a fixed log-retention period without verifying the actual production configuration.
To ask about personal information that ZMOHI Studio may control, request its deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email contact_zmohi@aol.com. We will assess the request and respond in accordance with applicable law. Certain information may need to be retained when lawfully required or where deletion is technically outside our control.
Needs verification: Whether the released app offers accounts, and the applicable account-deletion process, remains to be confirmed.
9. Security
We use standard HTTPS connections for public web access and aim to limit collection and access to information needed to operate the service. However, no online communication or device environment can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid including sensitive identifying details in ordinary support messages unless specifically needed.
10. Children's privacy
8thPayHub is intended for people seeking salary, pension, and government service-related information. It is not designed specifically for children. If we learn that we have improperly collected personal information about a child, we will review and address it in accordance with applicable requirements.
11. International processing
Hosting, content delivery, app-distribution, and support providers may operate infrastructure in different countries. Technical information may therefore be processed outside your country, subject to applicable legal safeguards and provider arrangements.
12. Your choices and requests
You may stop using the app, clear available local app data and cache, manage optional device permissions in Android settings, or contact us with a question about information that we control. Removing an app does not necessarily remove information from unrelated third-party services that you have accessed separately.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published at the app-specific policy URL above, and the effective date will be updated. Significant changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
