Depending on the features you use, SMS Forwarder may access:

Information accessed by SMS Forwarder is used only to provide the App's features, including:

• Receiving and processing incoming SMS messages.
• Determining the configured SMS source/SIM.
• Forwarding selected SMS messages to your configured email destination.
• Detecting and optionally forwarding OTP messages when you explicitly enable OTP forwarding.
• Sending test emails when requested.
• Maintaining local forwarding history and delivery status.

3. SMS Forwarding

When forwarding is enabled, an SMS selected for forwarding may be transmitted to the email destination configured by you.

The contents of the forwarded SMS are included in the email so that you can access the message through your configured email destination. You are responsible for choosing appropriate destination email addresses.

4. OTP Forwarding

OTP forwarding is disabled by default.

If you choose to enable OTP forwarding, the App may identify messages that appear to contain one-time passwords or verification codes and forward those messages to your configured email destination.

OTP messages can contain sensitive authentication information. You should enable this feature only if you understand and accept the associated privacy implications.

5. Gmail

When you connect a Gmail account, SMS Forwarder uses Google's authentication and Gmail services to send email. The App does not ask for your Gmail password.

Your Gmail authorization is used to perform the email-sending functionality you requested. Gmail data accessed through Google APIs is used only to provide the functionality described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Data Storage

SMS Forwarder stores configuration and forwarding-related information locally on your device as required for the App to operate. This may include:

• Forwarding settings.
• Selected SIM/source settings.
• Configured destination email addresses.
• Gmail account information required to identify the connected account.
• Forwarding history and delivery status.

7. Data Sharing

SMS Forwarder does not sell your personal information.

The App does not share SMS content with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

When you choose to forward an SMS, the message must be transmitted through the services required to deliver the email, including Gmail when Gmail is your configured email provider. Your configured email destination will receive the forwarded message.

8. Advertising

SMS Forwarder does not use SMS content or forwarded message content for advertising purposes. The application does not contain advertisements.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should use destination email accounts that you trust and take appropriate steps to protect access to those accounts.

10. Your Choices

You can control the App's behavior by:

• Turning SMS forwarding on or off.
• Selecting which SIM sources can forward messages.
• Enabling or disabling OTP forwarding.
• Adding, removing, or disabling destination email addresses.
• Changing the connected Gmail account.
• Removing the App from your device.

11. Permissions

SMS Forwarder may request Android permissions necessary for features you choose to use. These permissions are used only for the corresponding App functionality. If a permission is required for a feature, Android will ask you to grant it. You can manage app permissions through your Android device settings.

12. Children's Privacy

SMS Forwarder is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing the App's functionality.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App or its functionality. When changes are made, the updated version will be published at this location with a new "Last updated" date.
