How SMS Forwarder Works

Allow SMS Access
SMS Forwarder detects incoming SMS messages on the user's device using standard Android SMS reception permissions.
Connect Gmail
The user securely connects their Google account through Google's official authentication flow. The application uses the selected Gmail account to send forwarded messages.
Choose Destination
The user adds one or more destination email addresses where forwarded messages should arrive, supporting multiple inboxes.
Configure Forwarding
The user can select SMS sources (SIM 1/2), configure smart filters (OTP exclusion, sender rules), and set active forwarding schedules.

We believe security starts with transparent architecture. Here is exactly how your data is handled when you use SMS Forwarder:
SMS forwarding is initiated and configured strictly by you. Nothing is forwarded without your explicit setup and rules.
You choose the exact destination email addresses. The app transmits messages only to the recipients you designate.
The application uses Google's standard authentication flow for Gmail access. The app never asks for or stores your Gmail password.
ZMOHI Studio does not operate a separate server for forwarding users' SMS messages. Messages do not route through our infrastructure.
You can configure granular SMS filters, toggle OTP forwarding, or disable forwarding entirely at any time with a single tap.
SMS Forwarder does not contain advertisements, sell personal information, or use SMS content for advertising purposes.
Responsible Security Disclosure:
When an SMS is forwarded, the message content is transmitted through the services required to deliver the email, including Google (Gmail) and the receiving email provider of your destination addresses. While electronic transmissions are subject to standard internet encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS), no method of transmission is completely infallible. You should configure destination email accounts that you trust and protect access to those accounts.
Why does SMS Forwarder need Gmail access?
"SMS Forwarder uses your connected Google account to send selected incoming SMS messages to your configured email destinations. Gmail authorization is used for sending email on your behalf."
Specific API Scope
Authorization is requested solely for sending outgoing emails. SMS Forwarder does not access, browse, or read existing emails in your Gmail inbox.
Full User Control
Users can disconnect their Google account at any time within the application settings or revoke access directly via the Google Account Security dashboard.
